Class D Felony Penalties
Class D felonies include things like child enticement. If you’re convicted of a Class D felony, the judge can send you to prison for up to 15 years and put you on extended supervision for another 10 years after that. He or she can also fine you up to $100,000.
Class E Felony Penalties
Class E felonies, which can include crimes like aggravated battery, can put you in prison for up to 10 years with an additional 5 years of extended supervision once you’re out. The judge in your case can also fine you up to $50,000.
Class F Felony Penalties
Class F felonies can include crimes such as pimping, and if you’re convicted, you could spend up to 7 years and 6 months in prison with an extra 5 years of extended supervision after you’re released. You may also have to pay fines of up to $25,000.
Class H Felony Penalties
Class H felonies can include theft, depending on the value of the property you’re convicted of taking. If you’re convicted of this type of felony, you could spend up to 3 years in prison with 3 years of extended supervision, and you could be fined up to $10,000.
Class I Felony Penalties
Class I felonies are the least serious felonies in the state, but if you’re convicted, you could be sentenced to up to 1 year and 6 months in prison with 2 years of extended supervision after you’re released. You could also have to pay fines of up to $10,000.
